Meet Brendan

“The Keystone Carpenter”

Brendan O’Sullivan is a second generation carpenter and general contractor who takes the hands on approach with every project.

After earning his degree from Eastern University in Business Management, Brendan decided to continue pursuing his passion for the trade and create Keystone Home Remodeling. He is focused on the details in all areas of his work and sees the value in using long-lasting quality products and tools. Brendan has also learned over the years by aligning himself with very talented designers not only creates a beautiful and functional space, but allows for the project to flow smoother and provides a more enjoyable renovation experience for the client.

Didn’t quite get this one across the finish line before the Christmas break, but made some decent progress. The customer has made some nice material choices so far to class up this bathroom including handmade @sonomatilemakers tile and @floridatile wood plank tile, @kuikenbrothers mouldings, and a @kohler Archer tub. Not everyday you see a bathroom with osb for walls? I’ll be installing the fully waterproof (vapor barrier as well) @designbyfibo wall panels throughout which require a solid surface to be fastened. I forgot about this pretty cool find when I renovated my in-law’s 1903 kitchen back in 2016. This quarter from 1894 has 90% silver content and is worth about $15 in average condition, but could be worth hundreds in mint condition (from what I’ve seen online). • • • • #oldcurrency #american #quarter

Besides the land/hardscaping, this backyard office build is complete. We decided not to cheap out and went with all pvc trim and corner boards, pre painted hardie siding, Andersen windows, epdm roof, all spray foam insulation, and a Mitsubishi heat pump split system. I think the door color gives it a nice pop against the iron gray siding 😊. • • • #backyardoffice #office #backyard

Here we took the laundry from the first floor and moved it to the master bedroom walk-in closet. We repurposed a sitting room in the master bedroom as the new closet by narrowing the opening and installing a California Closet system.
